Bridgeport, California is our home away from home. We camp there at least once a year and Scott has been going there since he was born and Scott’s dad has been going there since he was a boy, so it’s basically a family tradition. This year was the first time we were actually able to get away for a full week, which still flew by so fast but was so relaxing! We met the family there and the boys immediately went off fishing. I didn’t get much fishing in since we brought both of our dogs and they’re a bit of a handful, especially if we’re near the water Cody is immediately in the water splashing around, scaring the fish away. Our good friends Aimee, her hubby Mike and their adorable son Jonah joined us camping as well.
Lower Twin Lake, just less than a mile from our campsite.
A happy puppy!
Tired boys!
Bridgeport has a bunch of beautiful hot sprints. This one is called Buckeye and is very popular.
This hot spring is called Traverteen and isn’t as well known, and I’m not giving the secret location away.
The guys fly fishing. Scott’s dad to the right, Scott in the middle and Scott’s brother to the left.
Aimee found the perfect wine for our camping trip. Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy it.
Proof that my mother-in-law is so excited for her grandson to come camping with us next year. She bought little mockison’s for little Evan.
It seems like the deer become more friendly every year. Aimee and Jonah were able to pet them and on our last night we had 11 deer in our campsite, 4 of them babies. Jonah called it a “deer party”.
