Andrew & Rebecca, September 24, 2010 :: Granite Bay Golf Course

As I arrived at the hotel where Rebecca was getting ready at, she was very calm and seemed relaxed sipping on cider and hangin’ with her girls.  I could tell it was going to be a great day with this group.

Cathy with Graceful Floral Designs did a beautiful job on all of the flowers.

Christi Reynolds did a fantastic job on Rebecca’s makeup, as always.

I love this moment of Andrew seeing his bride for the first time.

Andrew had such a sweet moment dancing with his daughter during the father daughter dance.

Then Rebecca had her sweet moment dancing with her son during the mother son dance while Andrew and his mom looked on.

Anthony with A&A Music rocked the house!

It’s starting to look a bit like Fall

On my way to Lake Tahoe for a couple photo sessions this week, I stopped at one of my favorite little spots to have some photo fun.  My favorite thing about this location is all of the aspen trees surrounding an old falling down building.  I was so excited and surprised to see the aspens starting to change, imagine what this place looks like in October!  I have always enjoyed photographing nature, it’s actually where I began with photography 18 years ago playing with the 1970’s Nikon camera my dad passed down to me.  Wow, did I just say 18 years ago, where has the time gone?!  Nature photography is almost like therapy for me, it’s refreshing, beautiful and calming.  I always say I need to set more time aside for myself to do more nature photography but it just never happens.  Enjoy my two favorite images from my favorite secret spot.  And one of these days I will schedule a Fearless Bridal Session for the fall at this location.  How gorgeous would it be to put a bride in the midst of all this beauty?!

Eric & Martha, September 18, 2010 :: Flower Farm Inn, Loomis

Eric and Martha are such a sweet couple!  They are both work in the Forestry Department and love the outdoors.  The chose the perfect setting to have their wedding, The Flower Farm Inn in Loomis which is totally country charm and you’ve gotta love the fluffy chickens!

Amore Flowers by Katie did a beautiful job on all of the flowers, really tying the country/outdoors theme together.

We call her the chicken wrangler, and she did it with such ease too.  The chickens are really as soft as they look too, can I just hug and squeeze one please?!

Mike with Mr. DJ Service rocked the house!

Jason & Nichole, September 17, 2010 :: The Bridges Country Club, San Ramon

I adore Jason and Nichole.  Really.  They are the cutest and sweetest couple, so different yet so perfect for each other.  Nichole is the fashonista and Jason is the outdoor country boy, but together they will just melt your heart.  Last October I had the great pleasure of photographing Nichole’s sister and brother-in-law’s wedding, Tiffany and Ryan so I got to know Tiffany and Nichole’s family pretty well and I adore them as well.  They are the sweetest family, and all day I could tell Paul, Nichole’s dad was on the brink of happy tears.  During Paul’s toast that evening it was so sweet that I even teared up a bit.

Thank you Nichole, Jason, the Goulet family and also the Muller family for allowing me to capture your gorgeous day.  It was so beautiful and such a blast to work with all of you!  And I know I’ll be seeing Nichole and Jason again in the near future, possibly for a Fearless Bridal Session…

Patrick & Jessica, September 4, 2010 :: Sacramento Wedding Photographer

As we arrived at Jessica’s hotel room she was completely relaxed and surrounded by so many friends and family.  The champagne was flowing and the music was bumping, a perfect way to get ready for her big day.  The day was filled with lots of love, laughter and tears (happy tears).  Patrick and Jessica’s ceremony was held at the Hilton in Pleasanton and the reception at the Shannon Center in Dublin.

How amazing is this cake?!
