The leaves are bursting with fall colors right now and I swear it happened over night! I think nature just needed a drink of water because after the rainfall, the colors just seemed so much more vibrant. I saw the start of this sunset and bribed my boys to let me photograph them and they obliged. The views of the Smoky Mountains are incredibly beautiful from our property and the way the sun filters through the trees is so magical. I am really looking forward to offering this location to clients to photograph at. It’s really a dream location!

This sweet family met me at my private property in Athens just in time to capture the beautiful fall colors! Their kiddos had a blast playing and running around and also snuggling on their newest baby brother who was only 1 month old.

Over fall break, I met this sweet family in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountain National Park for a family session which was full of laughs and lots of exploring! The fall colors were just starting to come out at this time, making a beautiful mix of green and oranges.

Talk about a milestone session for this girl! I’ve been photographing Phoebe since she was in her mama’s tummy, and now she is so grown up! Her mama and I went big on this shoot too. She rented this amazing dress from Bentley and Lace, special ordered beautiful flower arrangements from my favorite florist, Ambience Floral and shot her session and the gorgeous Bywater Hollow Lavender Farm. It might have been over 100 degrees that day but Phoebe was a trooper in all the fluff of a dress. I even brought out my drone at the end of the session to get some cool perspective shots.
