Jeff & Lindsay, August 27, 2010 :: Edgewood South Lake Tahoe

Leading up to their wedding, the 3 of us got to know each other pretty well so I just knew their wedding was going to be a blast, and it did not disappoint!  With a fun bridal party, a gorgeous couple and a beautiful Lake Tahoe backdrop, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Jeff and Lindsay decided to do a First Look which gave us so much time before the ceremony for pictures!

These girls were A LOT of fun!

I heart this image!

I think the girls win for craziness in this one.

My favorite from the day!

My favorite cake designer, Sarah with Flour Girl Wedding Cakes always does a fabulous job!

Joel & Belinda, August 14, 2010 :: Sacramento Wedding Photographer

Joel and Belinda are just adorable together, I could photograph these two all day!  And I knew these two were going to be a lot of fun from their engagement session and because they were a referral from another fun couple of mine from last year, Sabrina and Michael.  Belinda, I hope you seriously consider a Fearless Bridal session like we talked about.  We can do some really fun things!

Ceremony: St. Josephs Cotati

Reception: Hyatt Santa Rosa

Florist: Petal Town

I love the Rolls Royce Belinda took to the church.  What a great prop!

This church’s architecture was awesome!

We found a great field behind the church.

Belinda, you are gorgeous!

I LOVE this one!

Ok, I LOVE this one below too.

With 300 guests, you bet they know how to party!

Bridgeport 2010 :: Personal

Bridgeport, California is our home away from home.  We camp there at least once a year and Scott has been going there since he was born and Scott’s dad has been going there since he was a boy, so it’s basically a family tradition.  This year was the first time we were actually able to get away for a full week, which still flew by so fast but was so relaxing!  We met the family there and the boys immediately went off fishing.  I didn’t get much fishing in since we brought both of our dogs and they’re a bit of a handful, especially if we’re near the water Cody is immediately in the water splashing around, scaring the fish away.  Our good friends Aimee, her hubby Mike and their adorable son Jonah joined us camping as well.

Lower Twin Lake, just less than a mile from our campsite.

A happy puppy!

Tired boys!

Bridgeport has a bunch of beautiful hot sprints.  This one is called Buckeye and is very popular.

This hot spring is called Traverteen and isn’t as well known, and I’m not giving the secret location away.

The guys fly fishing.  Scott’s dad to the right, Scott in the middle and Scott’s brother to the left.

Aimee found the perfect wine for our camping trip.  Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy it.

Proof that my mother-in-law is so excited for her grandson to come camping with us next year.  She bought little mockison’s for little Evan.

It seems like the deer become more friendly every year.  Aimee and Jonah were able to pet them and on our last night we had 11 deer in our campsite, 4 of them babies.  Jonah called it a “deer party”.

The sunrise the morning we left to go home.

Joel & Belinda, Sneak Peak :: Sacramento Wedding Photographer

Today was another gorgeous and fun wedding!  The ceremony was at this awesome Catholic Church in Santa Rosa that had amazing architecture and the Reception was at the Hyatt just up the road.  I can’t even begin to express how beautiful of a bride Belinda made and I just love these two.  I think the highlight of my day was when we were doing the bride and groom formals and I asked Belinda if she was ok with sitting on the ground in her dress and she said “Yes, anything for great pictures,” and great pictures we got because these two are just so adorable!  Here’s a sneak peak from their day, more to follow, I promise.
