Andrew & Faith :: Married

Andrew & Faith are made for each other.  We already know they make beautiful babies with Kennedy and they have such a beautiful love.  Faith is such a great mother and now wife and Andrew is a wonderful father and now husband.  I have gotten to know these two plus Kennedy over the past year and a half and I just love them!  During the ceremony they wrote their own vows which were very romantic, emotional and funny, I even got choked up behind the camera.

 

Poor Kennedy wasn’t feeling good and just wanted her mama.

A mother’s job is never done, even on her wedding day.  Time to call Andrew to come get Kennedy and comfort her until the babysitter arrives.

Time to see her groom for their First Look.  A bit nervous but the champagne definitely helped!

After seeing each other, they both were able to relax.  Faith thanked me for suggesting the First Look as she probably would have been an emotional wreck if they had waited (her words not mine!).

Before Kennedy was whisked away for her nap we were able to snap a couple family pictures.  And though she’s not in her pretty little dress that she never got to wear for the wedding, at least they will have this family picture forever.

Robert & Lisa :: Engaged

You would never know it but both Robert and Lisa Cops, and this is how they met.  These two are so sweet and fun to hang out with, and Lisa is, well, Gorgeous!  Robert, you clean up pretty well yourself.

Lisa knows how to work it, mmhhmm.

Dave & Stephanie :: Married, Edgewood Lake Tahoe

When I first met Dave and Stephanie, officially (unofficially I met Dave at Amber and Daniel’s wedding in Seattle last year) I knew they were going to be a fun couple to work with.  Dave always cracking jokes and can’t be serious, and Stephanie always laughing and smiling.  When they mentioned they are getting married in Tahoe Stephanie said how she would love for it to snow on the day of her wedding.  Judging on how the previous years have been in April I thought, no way.  Well, I was wrong and Stephanie got her wish!  When I arrived in Tahoe the skies were cloudy and once I brought the girls out to the beach we felt a few drops, and then a few minutes into their pictures the snow/rain started to fall at a steady pace.  This was my first wedding in the snow and I was excited, plus Stephanie and Dave were totally down for doing pictures in the snow, this is another reason why I love them!  We got amazing pictures in the falling snow, their wedding was so beautiful and I had a blast with their friends and family!

Dave and Stephanie decided to see each other before the ceremony, which I LOVE because it enabled us to get so many pictures before hand!

I saw their snowboards in their room and HAD to use them for at least a couple pictures!

Dave is such a goofball, I love it!

Stephanie and Dave were still down to do pictures outside on the beach even though it was dumping snow, and that’s another reason why I love these two.  And of course the bridal party was awesome for bearing the cold!

Stephanie, you are simply gorgeous.

Dave & Stephanie :: Engaged

This crazy California weather has not helped with e-sessions.  Thankfully I have such wonderful clients and all were understanding and flexible when we would have to re-schedule their session.  For Dave and Stephanie, we had to re-schedule about 3 times before we finally had success last week, and their wedding is, well, TODAY!  I can’t say enough great things about these two, and if I had a bunch of time I would but I am getting ready to head to Lake Tahoe for their wedding today.  But I will say that my most favorite thing about these two is how much they laugh together, and Stephanie has one of those contagious laughs that had me laughing through their whole session as well.  My cheeks literally hurt by the end from laughing so much.  I love both of you and I can’t wait to see you in just a few hours for your gorgeous wedding!

My little stud muffin is 4 months old

Evan is 4 months and I’m not sure where the time has gone!  My favorite thing is making him smile and kissing his chubby cheeks.  We are in a new stage now where he is teething, that’s an experience!  He has one tooth that has broke through and I’m sure more are on the way with the amount of drool coming out of this little boy.  But for the most part we are entering into the more fun stage where he smiles a lot and is starting to interact with us more which is so much fun.
