A year ago in June I was photographing Mike & Christie walking down the isle and now I’m so excited that they have a baby coming soon and I can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or girl!

Last month the family and I were able to get away for a few days and we headed out to Yosemite. I hadn’t been there in years, Scott either, and this was the perfect time to go. The water was just rushing down the waterfalls and the river, I could just sit and listen to it all day.

This was Evan’s first real trip and he loved it! Scott and I loved watching him absorb his surroundings and experience new things. I think that might be one of the best things about parenthood, is looking at the world differently through a child’s eyes.

We stopped along the river for lunch.
