Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.  I hope you have a great day with your family!

My Dad and Me

I love this picture of Scott and Evan.  He’s such a proud papa!

David & Christine :: Married

This post is coming a few days behind as my family and I took off for a few days of R&R (pictures to come soon!).

David and Christine’s wedding was filled with lots of emotions, laughter, smiles and tears of joy.  Christine being the baby of her family and David being the oldest of 5, both sides of their families were sad to let them go but know they will take great care of each other.  In the little time I had to get to know these two, since they were planning their wedding from across the country while going to school, I quickly learned that these two were destined to be together.  Ok, I know that’s corny but that’s how I roll, I love good ol’ corny, mushy love stuff.  Anyway, I am so happy and honored to have been able to spend time with these two and capture their amazing day!

David & Christine :: Engaged

They met in Colorado.  Christine was on vacation and David had a gig.  Neither looking for love, but isn’t that they way love happens?  Daniel was playing in a band, and after he was finished she caught his eye and they started chatting.  Christine found it so easy to talk to him, so they continued for hours.  After their initial meeting Christine didn’t think too much about it but David knew Christine was special and didn’t want to lose her.  Ironically enough Christine ended up going to college in the same area that David lived at the time, so he would try to meet up with her for lunch and to hang out.  That was about 4 years ago, and now the rest is history.

Jason & Lindsay :: Married

Who knew that Jason and Lindsay would have to worry about RAIN on their wedding day!  That ended up being the case this past Saturday, and for the longest time it wouldn’t let up.  But we didn’t let a little rain ruin our fun, we rocked it out AND had a huge happy ending, a double rainbow right before sunset.  I’d say that is double good luck for them!  So for all you skeptics, no I did not photoshop that rainbow, that really happened!

Jason and Lindsay, you both have been a blast to work with and I have loved getting to know you both.  Have fun in Jamaica and I’ll see you soon for your newlywed session with your new puppy!

Nolan & Jessica :: Married

Nolan and Jessica are simply adorable.  No really, they are.  Just watching them interact with each other makes me smile constantly.  I got to know these two over the course of almost a year and a half including driving to Tahoe with them for their engagement session and then chatting it up over a scrumptious dinner in North Shore.  So I pretty much fell in love with these two.  They are young but they know what they want out of life and with each other and I know their love will last a lifetime.

Nolan’s best friend couldn’t be with them because he was in Iraq, but his Best Man surprised him with a video.
