Madisyn :: Belly and Newborn, Sacramento Newborn Photographer

Collin is such a little character.  I loved photographing him and watching his personality shine through the camera!

Happy Birthday Evan!

3 years ago today just before 6am, 5 weeks before little Mr. Evan was due my water broke slightly and very unexpectedly!  While my husband drove me to the hospital I called all of my clients who were scheduled to come pick up their holiday orders, because of course it was Saturday which is my busiest day of the week, and still in denial I told them I would probably be home later.  When we arrived at the hospital and got checked in they tested me and the nurse said “yep, you’re having this baby TODAY!”  I said “WHAT?! No I still have 5 more weeks to mentally prepare for this!!”  Needless to say I was freaked out but my husband kept me calm.  After about almost 18 hours of labor Evan arrived into this world all of 5 pounds, 12 ounces and the blondest of hair.  From that day on I had no idea the adventure we were headed on.  He is so sweet, funny, outgoing and strong willed and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I know he will move mountains in due time and I cannot wait to watch him grow into a man.  He is my world.

Adam & Kim :: Married, Loomis Flower Farm

Adam and Kim are such an amazing couple with an awesome story.  They were great friends all through High School, went off to College but would meet up anytime they were in town.  Their friendship obviously grew into much more but the most important thing is they are still best friends.  Their wedding day was filled with so much laughter and tears of joy, it was such a fantastic wedding to end our wedding season on too!

They were married at the Flower Farm in Loomis on the most perfect day in November.  Their wedding was very unique in such a great way.  Kim and Adam decided to only have a maid of honor and best man stand beside them at the altar and prior to their ceremony they and their minister had asked if everyone could shut down their phones and cameras and just be present and participate in their ceremony.  I have to say that because of this it was the most unique and awesome Ceremony I have seen yet.  Every single person witnessing their union was involved with everything that was said.  There was so much laughter mixed with tears of joy, there was not a dry eye in the audience!  It was amazing to see everyone fully there at the wedding rather than trying to get the best picture to post immediately on Facebook and Instagram, which is why it made their Ceremony so special and memorable!   The rest of the night was fabulous as well, with lots more laughter and then there was dancing!

Christi Reynolds did a fantastic job as always with Kim’s hair and makeup.
