There was this guy I worked with. He was actually my manager. We would talk our whole shift every time we worked together and he would make me laugh constantly. I was clearly attracted to him but ignored my feelings and had no idea he liked me until about after a year of being friends he kissed me for the first time. That kiss set off fireworks for both of us! The next day I told him that he’s going to think I’m crazy that I can imagine marring him and he said he felt the same way. Then after dating for 3 years he asked me to be his wife.
7 years ago I thought I knew the man I was marrying. But only time has proven to me what kind of man he truly is. The kind of man that puts me first no matter what. The kind that would give up his career of 12 years to stay home with our first born (and now both kids) to support me in following my dream of becoming a successful professional photographer. And what started out as a 6 month plan for him to stay home and help me turned out to be an unforgettable 4 years plus journey of support and unconditional love.
On our wedding day I knew I would love you more and more each day but at that time I couldn’t even fathom what that would feel like, and then our first child, Evan was born and my heart doubled in size. Then our second child, Jacob was born and it tripled in size. And watching you teach and love our boys each day confirms to me that I found and married my soul mate, the one who was made for me. Nothing would make me happier than if our boys grew up to be just like you. I know with you by my side we can conquer ANYTHING. there has not been one moment of regret in the 7 years of marriage and 10 years of being together and I love how we always wonder when the “honeymoon stage” will wear off, but honestly I hope it never does. I hope you will continue to look at me with eyes of love that make me feel so beautiful even when inside I don’t feel pretty. I hope you will continue to be my cheerleader even when I feel defeated. I love you more than anything in this whole world and I knew it the moment you first kissed me. You are the best husband, best father to our children and best man I’ve ever known. Happy 7th Anniversary, I’m looking forward to at least 70 more!

I always have so much fun with this family! Parker is such a character and I love chasing her around, and her baby sister, Kinsley is just so adorable! There is never a dull moment and I swear I could photograph this family all day!
