There’s something magical about senior portraits in the Smoky Mountains — the way the light dances across the rolling hills, the way the colors shift from soft blues to glowing golds. For this beautiful Pigeon Forge senior portrait session, we met at one of my absolute favorite scenic overlooks, where you can see the mountains stretch endlessly into the horizon.
This spot never disappoints. It’s tucked just outside of Pigeon Forge, offering sweeping views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and it’s the perfect blend of natural beauty and quiet charm — an ideal setting for capturing such a special milestone.
We started the session surrounded by those majestic mountain views, taking time to let her get comfortable in front of the camera while the soft afternoon light wrapped everything in a dreamy glow.
As the evening went on, the sky began to shift — and we ended our session with a breathtaking golden sunset that painted everything in the warmest light. The mountains turned hazy blue, the air felt still, and it was one of those moments that reminds you how lucky we are to call East Tennessee home.
