Steven & Tami :: Married

I am working really hard to update my blog and catch up from being out of the office all last week so please bear with me.

Steven and Tami booked with me just a few months ago, and even though I was technically “on vacation” the weekend of their wedding for our families annual camping trip in Bridgeport (pictures posted soon), I just couldn’t say no after Tami’s initial emailing.  I could just feel the excitement in her email about my work, about meeting with me and about me potentially photographing her wedding.  When I met her and Steven in person I knew we were a perfect fit!  Both of them are so hilarious together, goofing around and having a great time.  I loved that all through their engagement session and even on their wedding day they kept telling me how they are horrible in front of the camera but I beg to differ.

I loved how their wedding day was so relaxed.  They both wanted to elope, skip the big wedding and just make it all about the two of them.  However, they knew both of their parents would NOT go for that, so they did the next best thing, they had a very intimate South Lake Tahoe wedding on the Party Boat.  It was so great that they were able to spend so much time with the ones who really matter to them.  The Party Boat stopped in front of Emerald Bay to have their ceremony, which Steven’s brother, Tony, was the minister.  And at the end when the boat dropped us off at the dock I stole Steven and Tami away to have some fun on the beach.
